Armenian Genocide Education Awareness (AGEA) ~ Glenview, United States
***Our second workshop will be held on January 25th at Hudaverdian Hall in the Armenian Community Center for all Chicago-area participants! (1701 N. Greenwood Road, Glenview, IL)***

Do you want to be a part of spreading Armenian Genocide awareness in your school?

If so, we are looking for Armenian high school and middle school students who are willing to present to their classroom about the Armenian Genocide.

We are also looking for mentors for this program who will guide the student presenter through this process.

To help the student:

• You will attend a workshop that will educate you about the genocide and provide you with resources and a basic presentation that you can modify to your liking while helping develop your presentation skills.
• You will be teamed up with a teacher mentor who will guide you through the process.
• You will be prepared on how to approach the teacher in whose class you will be making the presentation.
Ultimately we want to make sure you have the tools, resources and confidence to make a lasting impression on your peers!

As mentioned above, in order to help ensure success of this initiative, we would like to provide each student with a mentor. Ideally, the mentor would be Armenian and in the education field. The role of this mentor would be to provide guidance for the student throughout the entire process.

If you feel that you can commit to either of these roles, and contribute to the initiative, please sign up here:
